A recent RFI and response from a school interested in use of Ezy EdTEch.

  1. What type of resources are provided?

Ezy offers a suite of interactive digital learning materials, including:

  • Short, focused video lectures (6–12 minutes) that align with A-Level specifications (AQA, Edexcel, OCR, CAEI).
  • Automated assessments with instant feedback (explanations), worked solutions, and varied question types.
  • Gradebook and analytics dashboard tracking school, class and student performance at assessment and question level.
  • Assignment tools for teachers to set, monitor, and review tasks.
  • Document management features, allowing uploading and sharing of revision guides, worksheets, and notes.
  1. How is this utilised in lessons?
Teachers can use the video content to introduce or reinforce topics during lessons. Assessments can be deployed as:
  • In-lesson quizzes or plenaries – many schools use assessments to check learning at the end of lessons.
  • Many teachers use the assessment progress tracker live in class to support far more effective activity management.
  • Review prior assessments in class (following homework or for revision close to exams) via a dynamic gradebook that highlights class and individual weaknesses.
  • Use of worksheets and pdfs to students in class.
  • Most schools use the platform to increase independent learning, flip lessons and accelerate skills development.

The platform is adaptable for whole-class instruction, small group work, or individualised tasks.

  1. How does this inform planning?
Detailed analytics provide real-time insights into:
  • Which students are struggling and with what specific concepts.
  • Common misconceptions across a class or year group.
  • Progress against curriculum coverage – end of section assessments provides a syllabus knowledge audit.
  • All activities are timed to provide details of assessment attainment and time spent

This data can guide targeted intervention, grouping, revision planning, and lesson sequencing.

  1. How can this save time?
EzyEducation saves significant teacher time by:
  • Automating the marking of all assessments.
  • Providing instant feedback to students.
  • Generating performance reports without manual input.
  • Enabling quick assignment setting with built-in resources aligned to specifications.
  1. How can this be updated automatically or quickly?
The platform is cloud-based and updated centrally by EzyEducation. Teachers and students always have access to the latest content without needing to download or install updates. New specification content is rolled out in line with exam board changes.

Assignments and content can be quickly adjusted or reassigned from the teacher dashboard.

  1. How is this better than any other systems?
    Compared to traditional learning platforms:
  • It offers fully integrated content (video + assessment + analytics) in one system.
  • Automated marking and feedback reduce workload far more than PDF-based or worksheet platforms.
  • Student progress data is more granular, allowing for precise interventions.
  • Its exam-specification alignment ensures high relevance and minimal redundancy in planning.
  • It is a genuinely digital and data focussed platform. Minimal paper pushing in a format that is very 21st Century and is not rooted in the 20th Century.
  • It makes flipped learning an easily achieved reality.

The platform is designed specifically for UK secondary education, meaning a tighter focus and better usability than many generalised EdTech tools.

IN MEMORIAM HER MAJESTY QUEEN ELIZABETH II 1926-2022

The Ezy Edtech ltd team are greatly saddened by the news of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. During her reign of over 70 years as Britain’s longest serving monarch, her sense of duty and loyalty to her role was a shining example to everyone. She was admired by, and inspirational to, so many people across the world in the way she carried out her royal duties with dignity, grace, humour, and compassion. She will be sadly missed.

WELCOME TO EZY EDTECH LTD

I founded The Local Teachers Ltd in 2015, with the vision to make education more accessible and convenient locally. At the Local Teachers, we helped over 25,000 students in the last 8 years to boost their grades and help them go to their desired universities, we have fostered partnerships with 13 schools in London and 3 councils to help them support pupils with our intervention tuition programs in sciences, Mathematics and English.

With that same vision and passion, I have founded Ezy Edtech Ltd to purchase assets as part of the liquidation of EzyEducation Ltd via a CVL to make quality education more accessible in different ways.

That purchase transfers the rights of the EzyEducation website, courses, and high-quality book stocks of 10,000 with a commercial value of £5-10 per book to Ezy Edtech Ltd. The goodwill and support of ex EzyEducation employees has also been secured.

Moreover, we have renewed all suppliers’ contracts such as the Zapper app, which makes more accessible our revision pocket booklets by pulling the interactive videos lessons, and quizzes from our platform to iOS and Android devices which increasingly more and more students are relying on for their revision routines.

The EzyEducation platform and customer relationships benefited from £2.5m of investment and reinvested earnings. This means that Ezy Edtech bypasses the development costs usually associated with start-ups.

The platform is currently used by over 150 school users (subscriptions of £200,000 in 2019 and £130,000 during 2021 (revenue decreased due to COVID19 exam cancellations).

Although EzyEducation Ltd ceased trading on 14/12/2021 the platform has remained in use through this period with zero disruption for customers. Over this period, we had 188,543 sessions, 90,103 users, and 3.25 million hits. This continuation of user engagement is a clear indication of the success we can build on moving forward.

With that strong foundation for success, here are our short-term objectives.

  • At the present our most important objective is to secure renewals for the schools
  • Minimise the service disruptions - renew contracts for all our suppliers and staff where possible.
  • Improve our resources wherever necessary - such as creating more resources to make teachers’ life easier - in doing so, we will be complementing with PowerPoints lectures with the video lessons on the platform – so that teachers do not spend so much time and resources in creating lesson plans but rather focus on delivering and analysing the results.
  • Collect consensus from the current and potential service users for future improvement plans – which will make part of our short-term and long-term future developments.
  • We will restart the EzyShop and commence the sale of revision guide stock

 Medium-term

  • Extend the service to more schools, colleges, and tuition centres locally
  • Establish international outreach to make quality British education more accessible – in doing so, we will open offices in Africa and explore a meaningful presence in Asia, building on our current existing partners such as Mentari Learning in Indonesia.
  • Increase our courseware listing – with the intention to develop A-level sciences.
  • Open assessment centre for private candidates in GCSE exams in London – So that we can support further individual learners.
  • Explore new markets in Africa and the Middle East.
  • Raise more investment funds for the platform as needed.

I will share more details on our long-term goals, but for now, I would like to take this opportunity to thank our school leaders for their continued belief in our platform. I will do everything I can to make our platform more responsive to your needs.
